The German Jordanian University (GJU) has achieved a significant milestone in enhancing its academic and research reputation at the national level. The university has been awarded the Seal of Excellence and secured second place in the Official Distinguished University Award for 2024, part of the King Abdullah II Awards for Excellence in Government Performance and Transparency.
The awards were presented during a ceremony held under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, attended by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Abdullah II Center for Excellence.
This prestigious award recognizes organizations in the Kingdom that demonstrate exceptional performance across various sectors. It acknowledges GJU's ongoing commitment to achieving high standards of academic and research quality while fostering innovation and collaboration in education.
Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, President of GJU, expressed pride in this accomplishment, stating, “I extend my congratulations to my colleagues, university students, partners, and supporters for this distinction, which reflects their dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to the university's initiatives.”
