Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), received a delegation from the Jibreen Group, headed by Chairman of the Board, Dr. Majd Jibreen, at the university campus. The meeting aimed to explore areas of mutual cooperation between the two parties.

During the meeting, Prof. Al-Halhouli presented an introductory overview of the university, highlighting its academic and applied mission, along with its specialized centers in the fields of innovation, scientific research, and technical training. In turn, Dr. Jibreen presented the group’s diverse activities and areas of operation, emphasizing its interest in establishing strategic partnerships with academic institutions.

Both sides discussed potential collaboration opportunities in several vital sectors, most notably smart agriculture, energy, water management, and technical training. They also explored a proposal to organize a joint conference in coordination with the Jibreen Group, focusing on challenges and innovative solutions in these areas.

Following the meeting, the delegation toured the Technology, Research and Innovation Park (TRIP), where Dr. Qasem Abdelal provided a detailed overview of the facilities and research laboratories housed within TRIP. He also highlighted ongoing university-led research projects in areas such as unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), control systems, water technologies, and nanotechnology, all aligned with the latest global scientific advancements and innovations.
