The German Jordanian University GJU participated in the Jordanian Universities Fair currently taking place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the year 2025, as part of an official delegation headed by Vice President of the University, Prof. Malek Al-Sharairi, and including Dr. Jacqueline Rogler, Director of the German Language Center, and Mr. Mohammad Abu Hammour, Head of the Scholarships Section at the Admission and Registration Department.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Haitham Abu Al-Foul, Ambassador of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to Riyadh, and was organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Jordan Tourism Board, in cooperation with the Jordanian Embassy in Riyadh and the Consulate General in Jeddah.

Prof. Al-Sharairi emphasized that the university’s participation aims to promote its modern academic programs and highlight the exceptional educational opportunities it offers to Saudi and international students, as part of its efforts to strengthen its regional presence and attract more international students.

He pointed out that on the first day of the fair, the university showcased its academic programs and its unique educational model, which combines applied learning with an international dimension, reflecting its vision to provide high-quality education aligned with labor market demands.

He added that the university’s booth witnessed remarkable interaction from ambitious Saudi students and their parents, as well as members of the Jordanian community residing in the Kingdom, who expressed pride in the university and its academic contributions. The delegation also welcomed a number of the university’s outstanding alumni who have made their mark in various professional fields.

It is worth noting that the fair is being held in the cities of Riyadh and Tabuk from April 16 to 20, 2025, with the participation of 22 public and private Jordanian universities and colleges. This event is part of the efforts by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Jordan Tourism Board to implement the Strategic Plan for Attracting International Students for the Years 2023–2027, and to enhance Jordan’s position as a leading educational destination in the region.
