The German Jordanian University (GJU), in collaboration with The Abdali – The Boulevard Company, organized an open day on Saturday, August 9, 2025, for high school and international program students, as well as those interested in learning more about the university, along with their parents, at The Boulevard – Abdali.
The event attracted a large turnout of high school students, their families, and visitors to The Boulevard. There was also active participation from university students and staff members, both academic and administrative. The event was attended by the University President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, and the Vice President, Prof. Malek Al-Sharairi.
The event aimed to introduce students to the distinguished academic programs offered by the university and to highlight its unique academic system, which allows students the opportunity to study and receive hands-on training in Germany. Attendees were also given the chance to interact directly with current students and alumni of the university to learn about their experiences and ask questions regarding the various academic programs and pathways.
In his speech, Prof. Al-Halhouli extended his congratulations to students who successfully passed the high school exams, underscoring the importance of choosing the appropriate academic major to build a promising future, and reaffirmed the university’s dedication to offering a comprehensive and distinguished educational environment.
Prof. Al-Sharairi expressed his pleasure in welcoming students and their families and warmly greeted all attendees from both inside and outside Jordan, including holders of certificates equivalent to the Jordanian Tawjihi.
The university affirmed that organizing this open day demonstrates its ongoing commitment to building bridges with high school students and supporting them in making confident academic decisions. This commitment aligns with its motto, "From Vision to Achievement," which represents twenty years of excellence and success.
GJU invites high school students and their parents to visit its main campus in Mushaqar on Saturday, August 16, 2025, to participate in the upcoming open day and explore its academic programs as well as the various study and training opportunities it offers.
