For the second year in a row, the German Jordanian University has launched the Kinderuni program through the Deanship of Student Affairs, which is also known as "Little Professor" with the participation of 300 children from all around the kingdom.
The program aims at stimulating scientific and innovative thinking among children through a series of interactive scientific activities and introducing them to various professions and the university education system through interactive lectures. Additionally, it aims to strengthen the university's connection with the local community and its development.
During the program's launch, the university's president, Prof.Ala'aldeen Al-Halhouli, emphasized that it is a valuable opportunity for children to experience university life at an early age, attend interactive scientific lectures, and learn about the university environment. He also presented the university's Engineering, Management and Language majors, as well as the new majors such as Nursing, and those which are hosted by the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) in Germany, including Social work and Hydrogen Technology Engineering.
The Kinderuni program, which takes place on Saturdays at the university campus in Al-Mushaqqar, includes a range of activities such as: the ‘Try Yourself’ Festival, the Career Fair, Challenges and Solutions, Projects Exhibition, and the Interactive Theater.
