The Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship at the German Jordanian University (GJU), in collaboration with the German Academic Exchange Services (DAAD) and the Business Development Center (BDC), organized the Falling Walls Lab-Jordan 2024 on July 27, 2024 at the GJU-Jabal Amman Campus.
This prestigious event attracted many innovators and entrepreneurs from various fields. After a selection process, only ten finalists were chosen to compete in the event, to showcase their innovative ideas and to vied for the opportunity to represent Jordan in the Falling Walls Lab Final in Berlin. Each finalist presented their idea in a 3-minute storytelling pitch.
This event is held annually worldwide. It provides promising innovators, researchers and entrepreneurs with a global platform to present their ideas. The winner of each National Falling Wall Lab gets the opportunity to demonstrate their idea at the Falling Walls Lab Final in Berlin later in November.
