The German Jordanian University (GJU) honored a group of faculty members distinguished academically and in research, as well as students who achieved outstanding accomplishments at the local, regional, and international levels. This took place during the closing ceremony of German Week held on the university campus in Jabal Amman.
In his remarks, GJU President Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli expressed his pride in the academic, research, and entrepreneurial achievements of the university’s community. He emphasized that the recognition reflects the university's commitment to supporting excellence and fostering a spirit of positive competition across campus.
Prof. Al-Halhouli highlighted the university’s steady progress in establishing itself as a leading educational institution, attributing this advancement to the capabilities of its academic staff and the ambition of its students. He noted that such achievements are the result of an inspiring educational environment that values innovation and global engagement.
For his part, the President’s Advisor for Campus Life, Prof. Ala' Khalifeh, underscored the importance of such initiatives in motivating young talents and strengthening the sense of belonging and excellence within the university community. He praised the cooperation and synergy among all university components in supporting both the academic and research missions.
At the end of the ceremony, the university president distributed certificates of recognition to the honorees, expressing his best wishes for their continued success and reaffirming GJU’s dedication to nurturing excellence among both faculty and students across all disciplines.
