
His Majesty King Abdullah II has bestowed the Medal of Independence, First Class, upon the German Jordanian University (GJU), recognizing its outstanding contributions to higher education. The prestigious award was received by the University President, Professor Dr. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli.
Professor Al-Halhouli expressed immense pride in the university's receipt of the First Class Medal of Independence. He noted the significance of this honor coinciding with Jordan’s seventy-eighth Independence Day and the silver jubilee of His Majesty’s accession to the throne. Al-Halhouli emphasized that this accolade serves as a badge of honor for the entire academic and administrative staff, as well as the students of GJU.
Professor Al-Halhouli also reaffirmed the university's commitment to His Majesty’s vision for Jordan. He pledged that GJU would continue to lead in educational excellence, contributing significantly to the development of a modern Jordan.
