The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, together with His Excellency Mr. Ayman Al-Mufleh, Director of the El- Hassan Youth Award, recently hosted a delegation from the Duke of Edinburgh International Award. The delegation included Secretary General Martin Brown and Director of Operations Jamie Locke.

The meeting centered on exploring avenues for collaboration between the university and the two awards. Discussions focused on creating opportunities for university students and Jordanian youth to benefit from the award's programs. These initiatives aim to develop skills, enhance personal growth, and empower youth to contribute meaningfully to their communities and country.

Professor Al-Halhouli emphasized the significant role of the award programs in equipping young people with essential life skills, fostering societal awareness, and deepening their understanding of Jordan’s rich cultural heritage. He highlighted the university’s keen interest in forging a strategic partnership with the award to design specialized programs that will enrich the experiences of Jordanian and international students alike.
