The Visual Rehabilitation Center at the German Jordanian University (GJU) celebrated the graduation of participants in the "Low Vision for Clinical Optometrist" course, in the presence of the Vice President, Prof. Dr. Malek Al-Shrairi, and the Center's Director, Dr. Omaima Al-Arja.This course is part of a project supported by CBM titled "Visual Rehabilitation Services for People with Low Vision and Training Specialists in Jordan." It focused on three main areas: visual function assessment and magnification, provision and training on assistive devices, and hands-on training at the Visual Rehabilitation Clinic. Participants included optometrists from the Ministry of Health, Royal Medical Services, Noor Al Hussein Foundation (Institute for Family Health), Jordan University Hospital, and the private sector.

Dr. Al-Shrairi highlighted the center’s crucial role in community service through continuous education and training programs, as well as providing visual rehabilitation services for people with visual impairments. He also noted that this graduation coincides with the university's celebration of receiving ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018 certifications, along with the Independence Medal of the First Order, awarded by His Majesty King Abdullah II.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates to the graduates by Dr. Al-Shrairi and Dr. Al-Arja, followed by a group photo.
