The German Jordanian University (GJU), represented by the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship, has formalized a collaboration with Hikma Pharmaceuticals through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This agreement, signed by GJU President Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, aims to strengthen cooperation between the university and the pharmaceutical company across student development and research initiatives of mutual interest.
Key provisions of the MoU include the creation of training opportunities for GJU students within various departments of Hikma Pharmaceuticals. Additionally, the company will participate in exhibitions and career days organized by the Deanship. The agreement also outlines a data exchange mechanism for graduate employment, the organization of specialized workshops, and support for entrepreneurs and startups at the university through mentorship from Hikma’s experts in technology and innovation.
Furthermore, the MoU includes plans for collaborative competitions and initiatives designed to foster creativity and innovation at GJU, contributing to a dynamic and supportive environment for students and emerging entrepreneurs.
