
Kuwait, April 22, 2025 – In a joint effort to promote academic excellence and Foster international collaboration, The German Jordanian University (GJU) and The Gulf University for Science and Technology (GUST) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhancing cooperation in the fields of education, scientific research, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the two institutions.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Alaaldeen Al-Halhouli, President of GJU, and Prof. Bassam Alameddin, President of GUST. The agreement outlines strategic partnerships that include the exchange of academic and administrative staff, the organization of short term academic programs, joint workshops and conferences, as well as collaboration in areas such as quality assurance and international rankings.
The agreement also aims to promote student exchange between the two universities through study-abroad and exchange programs, offer opportunities for internships and participation in academic competitions, and support initiatives in innovation and entrepreneurship
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination, upholding the highest standards of professionalism in implementing joint programs, in a manner that contributes to the advancement of the educational process and enhances the quality of scientific research.
This agreement represents a new beginning for international academic partnership, opening doors for collaboration between Arab and global universities. It contributes to enriching the students’ educational experience and strengthening the presence of both institutions on the regional and international levels
