In a new step towards expanding the network of international cooperation and promoting academic excellence, German Jordanian University and Australian University in Kuwait have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at opening broad horizons for collaboration in the fields of education, scientific research, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise between the two institutions.

The memorandum was signed by the President of German Jordanian University, Prof. Alaal-deen Al-Halhouli, and the President of Australian University in Kuwait, Prof. Isam Zabalawi. The agreement includes the establishment of strategic partnerships encompassing the exchange of academic and administrative staff, organizing short academic programs, joint workshops, and conferences, in addition to cooperation in quality assurance and international rankings.

The agreement also aims to enhance student exchange between the two universities through exchange programs and studying abroad, providing opportunities for practical training, and participation in academic competitions, along with supporting innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives.

Both parties have affirmed their commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination between the two institutions according to the highest professional standards in implementing joint programs, which contributes to the development of the educational process and the improvement of research efficiency.

This agreement marks a promising step towards building effective communication bridges between universities in the Arab region and their global counterparts, benefiting students and enhancing the competitiveness of both universities on regional and international levels.
