The German Jordanian University (GJU) and Al-Isra University have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening their scientific and research partnership. Signed by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Hamed, President of Al-Isra University, and Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, President of the German Jordanian University, the MoU outlines collaborative efforts to advance joint projects benefiting faculty, administrative staff, students, and the local community.
Key provisions of the MoU include the organization of conferences, scientific seminars, academic programs, and collaborative research initiatives. Additionally, the agreement emphasizes cooperation in areas such as innovation, technology transfer, and entrepreneurship.
Prof. Al-Halhouli underscored GJU's commitment to fostering partnerships with both public and private educational institutions, reflecting its strategic goal of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical applications. This approach aims to produce skilled professionals capable of making significant contributions to economic and social development.
Prof. Hamed reiterated Al-Isra University's dedication to enhancing cultural relations and expanding collaborative opportunities in an environment characterized by openness and mutual respect. He expressed satisfaction with the strategic partnership with GJU and conveyed appreciation for the warm hospitality extended during the signing ceremony. He also expressed optimism for productive cooperation between the two institutions in the future.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Wafiqa Zaher, Assistant to the President for International Affairs at Al-Isra University, Dr. Aseel Atta Allah Hassan Al-Shubaikat, Acting Director of Consultations, Training, Continuing Education, and Community Development, and Dr. Hani Mohsen, Acting Dean of Student Affairs at the German Jordanian University.
