As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance institutional performance and accelerate digital transformation, the German Jordanian University (GJU), through its Information Systems and Technology Center, organized two workshops under the Digital Trust Framework Initiative (DTF@GJU) titled "Empowering Digital Document Processes" and "Empowering Certified Digital Signatories." The workshops were attended by the Vice President for Academic Excellence, Prof. Dr. Iyas Khader.
The workshops were delivered by Eng. Anas Al-Kasasbeh, Director of the Information Systems and Technology Center, who introduced the mechanisms for implementing certified electronic signatures and electronic seals, as well as the University's standardized templates for official correspondence. These initiatives are designed to accelerate administrative processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance information security and the reliability of digital documents across the University.
Prof. Dr. Iyas Khader emphasized that the Digital Trust Framework Initiative represents a key milestone in GJU's digital transformation journey. He noted that adopting modern digital solutions strengthens institutional efficiency, enhances the quality of services, and fosters a more agile and sustainable work environment, in line with the University's vision of embracing international best practices in higher education.
These workshops form part of a broader series of initiatives through which GJU continues to advance its digital infrastructure and empower its academic and administrative staff to leverage the latest technologies in their daily work.
