In its 144th edition published in June of this year (2023), the German public newspaper 'Frankfurter' praised the German Jordanian University as a successful model for technical applied universities, similar to the German applied universities that emphasize practical education.

The article's author, Annika Broom, pointed out that the unique educational system offered by the university makes students familiar with the Jordanian and German markets and cultures. Despite the scarcity of resources and the high unemployment rate in Jordan, graduates of the German Jordanian University are characterized by high employment rates. Nine out of ten find jobs within the first six months of graduation, whether within Jordan, the Gulf countries, or Europe. This is due to the university's system that ensures their smooth transition into the job market. The system focuses on teaching students the German language and preparing them for the mandatory exchange year in Germany. During this year, students study at one of the 120 partner German universities, for one semester, followed by practical training at a German company.

The article also highlighted that the university recently launched a Nursing major, which provides specialized competencies targeting the German job market directly, ensuring that its graduates will find suitable job opportunities. Additionally, the university has a strong focus on the renewable energy field. A new specialization in Hydrogen Technology Engineering was launched in collaboration with the University of Würzburg-Schweinfurt.

A graduate of the university, Dima Murad, who is currently working in the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship at GJU, shared her experience in studying at the German Jordanian University. She mentioned that she secured job opportunities in the local market shortly after graduating, and later returned to work at the university as a coordinator for dual studies.
