The German Jordanian University (GJU) has officially launched the fourth edition of the "My Right to Learn" initiative under the University’s Children’s University Initiative, organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs. The initiative reflects GJU’s ongoing commitment to social responsibility by fostering children's skills through purposeful educational and interactive programs.

The opening ceremony was inaugurated on behalf of the University President by the Assistant President for Community Engagement, Mr. Abdul Hakim Arabiyat. In his remarks, he reaffirmed the University's commitment to supporting community-based and volunteer initiatives that contribute to serving the local community. He also commended the continuous support provided by the University President for such

impactful initiatives, which embody the University's mission and developmental role. The event was attended by a number of partners, members of the academic and administrative staff, and students participating in the implementation of the initiative.

The first day's program included general medical check-ups for the participating children, conducted under the supervision of the medical staff at the Deanship of Student Affairs. Participants were also introduced to the initiative’s objectives and activities, followed by the screening of a video highlighting the key milestones and achievements of the third edition of the "My Right to Learn" initiative.

The opening activities also featured an introductory session that allowed participating children to get acquainted with one another, as well as an orientation tour of the University's facilities and learning environment, where the initiative's activities will take place.

The interactive atmosphere was designed to encourage engagement, build confidence, and inspire active participation throughout the program. Through the "My Right to Learn" initiative, GJU continues its mission of providing an inspiring educational environment for children while promoting the values of learning, creativity, and volunteerism. The initiative reflects the University's steadfast commitment to community service and to building meaningful partnerships that create a lasting and positive impact.
