Four GJU faculty members have featured among the World’s Top two per cent Scientist list for 2021 drawn up by USA’s well-known Stanford University based on data from Elsevier’s Scopus on the basis of a subject-wise analysis. The list includes Professor Raed Mesleh and Professor Osamah Badarneh of the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Professor Raid Al-Aomar of the School of Applied Technical Sciences and Dr Dia Zeidan of the School of Basic Sciences and Humanities.
The Stanford rating uses known criteria when evaluating academic performance and prepared by international experts. The selection has listed over 100,000 top-scientists that provides standardized information on citations, h-index, co-authorship adjusted hm-index, citations to papers in different authorship positions and a composite indicator as well as citation of independently published papers and total number of citations.
