A delegation representing a number of university service offices in Egypt visited the German Jordanian University to get acquainted with the university and its programs, as well as to discuss the possibility of attracting Egyptian students to study here at the GJU.

During the visit, the delegation met the Vice President of the University, Prof. Dr. Malik Al-Sharairi, who gave a briefing on the establishment of the university and its academic programs for the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels, and its interest in applied education as an applied international university that focuses on leadership, innovation, scientific research, community service, and being a cultural bridge linking Jordan with Europe in general and Germany in particular.

Prof. Al-Sharairi emphasized the strategic partnership relations between the university and a large number of German universities, industries and companies that receive university students during the fourth academic year that all students spend in Germany for the purpose of study and practical training. Prof. Al- Sharairi also expressed the GJU's readiness to cooperate with the university offices to attract students to study here and benefit from the unique experiences we provide our students as a cultural vessel that combines the German and Arab cultures.

At the end of the meeting, which was attended by the Director of the Library and the Vice- Dean of the School of Applied Humanities and Languages, Prof. Dr. Haytham Althawabieh, and the Director of Admission and Registration, Dr. Ahmad Barghash, the delegation visited the university library, the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship, and the Nano Lab.
