The Smart Electrical Networks Laboratory at the German Jordanian University (GJU), represented by Dr. Hani Mohsen, welcomed a research delegation from Tafila Technical University, represented by Head of the Electrical Power Engineering Department, Dr. Salman Al-Harasees, and Dr. Jumana Al-Shawawreh.
The two teams discussed ways and mechanisms of cooperation in the field of scientific and applied research related to smart electric grids.
The guest team was briefed on the laboratory equipment and the research facilities that can be provided through the laboratory were discussed.
It is worth mentioning that the laboratory was completed within the European Union Erasmus + project entitled AT-SGIRES to develop the capabilities of students and researchers in Jordan in the field of smart electrical grids, which are considered one of the new topics in the field of electrical energy.
