The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Alaaldeen Al-Halhouli,, welcomed the Director of the Jordan Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Fund (JREEEF), Dr. Rasmi Hamzeh, and the accompanying delegation during their visit to the university. The visit aimed to explore prospects for cooperation and partnership between the university and the Fund.

During the meeting, possible areas of collaboration were discussed across various programs and initiatives, with a focus on enhancing scientific research, developing renewable energy projects, and supporting innovation and academic training for students.

The delegation also toured the Technology, Research, and Innovation Park (TRIP), inaugurated by His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein at the university in November of last year. The Park aims to strengthen the university’s role in technology and scientific research, support scientific advancement in the Kingdom, and contribute to economic development.

This visit comes as part of both parties’ commitment to expanding cooperation with national and international institutions and enhancing their partnerships in modern scientific and environmental fields, in a way that positively impacts society and the labor market.
