Within the framework of the cultural and professional exchange program for employees between the German Jordanian University (GJU) and German partner universities, a delegation of employees from Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences, the strategic partner of the GJU, and the Universities of Baden-Württemberg and Hannover of Applied Sciences visited the university.
The President of the University of GJU, Prof. Ala'aldeen Al-halhouli, met with the delegation members including the President of the University of Magdeburg, Prof. Manuela Schwartz. Dr. Al-halhouli praised the support of German partners, especially with GJU students during the German Year.
In addition, Dr. Al-halhouli presented the university's strategic mission to be an international university of applied sciences that focuses on creativity, innovation, scientific research, and community service.
Furthermore, the delegation was introduced to the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer, and Entrepreneurship (DI- TECH) to learn about its role in embracing pioneering students and spreading the culture of leadership in the university and society, the dual studies program that combines theoretical education and practical training at the companies participating in the program.
Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Reiner Finkeldey, Director of the German Language Center (GLC) Jacqueline Rogler, and Director of the International Relations Department, Jens Hegemann, attended the meeting.
