The Commander of the Royal Jordanian National Defense College, Brigadier General Azzam Al-Rawahneh, visited the German Jordanian University (GJU) and discussed ways of cooperation between the two parties in areas of common interest with GJU President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli.

During the meeting, the importance of cooperation between the university and the college in the field of studies and research and the exchange of experiences was emphasized to contribute to the graduation of community leaders who enjoy a positive spirit and have leadership qualities that enable them to keep pace with the rapid changes in technology and the digital world.

Dr. Al-Halhouli praised GJU's strong relationship with the Jordanian Armed Forces through its embrace of the sons and daughters of the armed forces members and its aspiration for more coordination to benefit from the cadres of both parties and directing master's thesis and graduation projects in demanded fields, especially since GJU has new engineering, administrative and technical specialties accredited in Germany.

For his part, Al-Rawahneh indicated the value of employing the two sides' competencies and expertise in joint strategic projects that are in line with the directives of His Majesty King Abdullah II in preparing young people for the future world, stressing the need to begin cooperation in common areas.

The meeting, which followed the visit of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to the University, was attended by the civil director at the college, Prof. Jamal Al-Shalabi, the Vice President of GJU, Prof. Malek Alsharairi, and the Head of Management Sciences Department at the Business School (BS), Dr. Aziz Madi.
