A delegation from the Aoun National Cultural Association visited the German Jordanian University, where they met with its president, Prof. Aladdin Al-Halhouli, and discussed ways of cooperation between the two parties in areas of common interest.

The delegation included a number of academic, military, and media personalities to introduce the association and its project related to documenting the national role of the Jordanian people in building Jordan and its national role in defending Palestine and supporting Arab liberation movements.

Dr. Al-Halhouli introduced the university, its establishment, programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and features such as following the applied practical approach and the compulsory German Year.

Dr. Al-Halhouli added that the university constantly works towards qualifying students, providing them with scientific and practical skills, and ensuring their readiness for the local, national and global labor market.

Furthermore, Dr. Al-Halhouli also expressed his support for enhancing cooperation between the two sides by providing the association the platform to implement its activities and events within the university's facilities and signing a cooperation agreement.

For his part, the head of the administrative body of the association, Asaad Ibrahim Naji Al-Azzam, stated that the visit aims to introduce the association and its role in collecting documents, spreading national culture, and raising awareness of the history of Jordan.

He added that the association seeks to show the positions of our national Hashemite leadership and encourage citizens to announce and disclose the historical documents in their possession to archive and preserve them from damage and loss to enable citizens and researchers to learn about the history of the country.

Moreover, the delegation members praised GJU's efforts, mainly its focus on German domination and its numerous partnerships, besides the mission of qualifying the students before graduation with the required skills for market readiness.
