Amman, Jordan – In a bid to strengthen academic ties between Jordan and Bulgaria, the German Jordanian University (GJU) recently hosted a distinguished visit from His Excellency Mr. Metin Kazak, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, accompanied by Mr. Metodi Gerasimov, Head of the Consular Section at the Bulgarian Embassy. They were warmly welcomed by GJU President Prof. Alaaldeen Alhalhouli and Prof. Ala' Khalifeh, the President’s Advisor for Campus Life.

During the visit, the Bulgarian delegation and GJU leadership discussed a range of potential academic collaborations, including joint project proposals, the development of student and faculty exchange programs, and the expansion of research partnerships.
