The German Language Center (GLC) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) held its traditional semester kick-off event on February 22, 2024. With nine additional new staff members, the GLC now has a teaching staff of 76 German as a foreign language lecturers, who are familiarizing 2687 students with the German language every day in the current 2nd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year.
Looking back on the past semester, the Head of the Language Center, Jacqueline Rogler, particularly highlighted the successful expansion of the job shadowing and internship program for students on the MA DaF degree program at GJU, the successful implementation of the third round of the GJUDaF certificate examination for a total of approx. 1200 students and the signing of the MoU with Jadara University for the implementation of German courses at the university by the GLC.
