Biography

Dr. Atmeh is an associate professor of accounting at the German Jordanian university and a former head of the Accounting Department at the Hashemite University, where he taught undergraduate and graduate accounting and auditing courses. Before entering the academic field, he was an auditor with Saba & Co. (now Deloitte –Jordan) and a tax officer at the income tax department.  Dr. Atmeh is currently a member of the board of directors of the Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally, he is involved in the technical and training committees at the association. He received his PHD from Newcastle University, his MBA from University of Jordan, and his BS from Kuwait University.

Dr. Atmeh conducts research in accounting and auditing, and has published articles in various accounting journals.
