Biography

Dr. Mohammad received a Ph.D. degree in science of advanced materials, a master degree in industrial management and technology, and a master degree in advanced engineering materials from Michigan University (USA). In his Ph.D. work, Dr. Mohammad contributed in developing predictive models to quantify radiation-induced damage and failure processes for candidate materials for next generation of nuclear reactors. His research interests include theory and modeling of microstructural evolution in complex polycrystals, radiation damage in nuclear applications, density functional theory (DFT), molecular dynamics (MD), multiscale modeling, machine learning to predict rare events, composite materials, additive manufacturing, and design of experiment and optimization. Dr. Mohammad has been involved in many collaborative research projects in Jordan and abroad such as DAAD, Erasmus+, and JAEC. He has authored and co-authored papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He is serving as a reviewer for a number of scientific articles.
