Biography

Lama is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the German Jordanian University. She earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in Accountancy from Purdue University in the US. After returning from the US, she worked for five years at Ernst & Young as a Transaction Advisory Services Consultant and an Assurance Services Provider before joining the German Jordanian University as a lecturer in 2015. In 2019, she was awarded a full scholarship by the University of Leeds to pursue her PhD, which she completed in August 2024. Lama is also a course developer for the Higher Diploma in Taxation program, launched by the German Jordanian University, which will commence in October 2024.
