Dr. Ghaith Al-refai
Dr. Ghaith Al-refai is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the German Jordanian University in Amman, Jordan. He earned both his PhD and Master’s degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oakland University in Rochester, MI, USA. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Jordan University of Science and Technology in Irbid, Jordan.
Dr. Ghaith has several years of experience in the automotive industry, having worked as a Systems and Electrical Engineer at renowned companies such as Robert Bosch, Clarion, ZF, and Magna Electronics. His expertise lies primarily in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technologies.
His research interests encompass a broad range of cutting-edge fields, including artificial intelligence, computer vision, mobile and aerial robotics control, autonomous vehicles, machine learning, image processing, and control systems. Dr. Ghaith is dedicated to advancing these technologies to improve safety and efficiency in modern automotive systems.
