On May 15, 30 students from the Department of German and English at the University of Jordan, accompanied by Prof. Renata Asali, visited the German Language Center (GLC) at the German Jordanian University (GJU). The program included classroom observations of various German language courses at different proficiency levels, followed by a discussion with the director of the GLC (Jacqueline Rogler) and a graduate of GJU’s Master's program in German as a Foreign Language (Maryam Al-Qwidari), who now works as a lecturer at the GLC.

Afterward, the Dean of the School of Applied Humanities and Languages (Dr. Haythamat Althawbih), the DAAD Lecturer in the Master's program in German as a Foreign Language (Dr. Ortrun Hanna) and the Coordinator of the program (Dr. Torsten Schaar) presented its newly revised program  and answered questions from the University of Jordan students. This exchange marks the second time such an event has been held, aiming to provide students with insights into the practical aspects of teaching German as a foreign language while also highlighting further qualification possibilities through GJU’s Master's program in German as a Foreign Language and career opportunities at GJU.

The visit served as a valuable opportunity for academic and professional exchange, strengthening collaboration between the two institutions and inspiring future German language educators.
