As part of the "My Right to Learn" summer initiative, implemented by the German Jordanian University, the program continues to offer a series of distinguished educational activities aimed at developing children’s skills, while providing an engaging and interactive learning environment. These activities reflect the initiative’s vision to empower children by enabling them to acquire new knowledge through modern methods that combine education and entertainment.
The activities included an interactive lecture titled "Journey with Money – Digital Currencies," presented by Dr. Luai Aburajab, who discussed simplified concepts about the evolution of money, focusing on digital currencies, in a way suitable for the children’s cognitive level. Prizes were distributed to the children, which helped enhance their understanding and encouraged their participation.
Students also took part in practical training on basic computer skills, including familiarization with computer uses and key tools. Additionally, an interactive linguistic activity in the German language provided a motivating learning environment that helps develop communication skills and acquire new vocabulary in a fun and practical way.
The activities featured an interactive session on mental math aimed at developing quick thinking and agility, followed by storytelling and dramatization activities in which the children excelled in creating and presenting group stories. This contributed to enhancing oral expression skills, creative writing, and teamwork spirit. The program also included an interactive story competition, providing a platform to showcase talents and encouraging creativity within a positive competitive atmosphere.
These activities align with the vision of the "My Right to Learn" initiative to empower children, broaden their knowledge, and provide an integrated educational experience that nurtures intellectual curiosity and personal skills through a comprehensive learning experience that combines benefit and enjoyment, strengthening their future skills.
