Amid an atmosphere full of excitement and joy, the German Jordanian University (GJU) launched its Summer Camp for Children, a month-long program designed for various age groups ranging from 5 to 16 years old. The camp provides a safe, engaging environment that blends education with entertainment.

The opening ceremony featured a welcoming speech and an introduction to the camp’s activities, followed by a special event held at the STEAM Village. There, an interactive session introduced children to key topics such as mental math, robotics, and artificial intelligence—core themes of this year’s camp.

The day also included a lively entertainment segment titled “The World of Housh”, which captivated participants with a range of interactive activities. Children enjoyed taking photos with the beloved character “Housh,” exploring the 360° camera experience, and spinning the wheel of wonders. Professional microphones and sound equipment added a tech-savvy touch, enhancing the immersive atmosphere. The Prize Drop station and surprise gifts for all participants further elevated the sense of fun and wonder.

The camp’s program offers a diverse mix of scientific and recreational activities, including mental math, robotics, AI, English through games, junior cooking, hands-on science experiments, smart farming, arts and crafts, and more.

This initiative reflects GJU’s commitment to its community role, aiming to provide safe and stimulating spaces where children can discover their talents and enhance their intellectual and motor skills. The camp features modern, integrated activities that combine learning with play, all under the supervision of experienced professionals and creative facilitators.
