The German Jordanian University (GJU) has concluded a “Innovation Bootcamp” series of 3 workshops under the title "Turn Idea to an Innovative Entrepreneurial Project (Using the Six ‘I’s® Model)", organized by the Consultation and Training Center (CTC) at GJU in collaboration with MT Management as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week in collaboration with the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship. The workshops were attended by university students and staff, as part of the center's ongoing efforts to promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the campus.
The sessions were led by Dr Maryam Tubeileh, Founder of MT Management, and an expert in quality and innovation management systems. Dr. Tubeileh guided participants through an interactive, hands-on journey that began with identifying real-world problems relevant to their areas of interest, followed by opportunity analysis, and culminating in the design of innovative, applicable solutions using the Six ‘I’s®.
The workshops aimed to help participants understand the fundamental steps of transforming an idea into a successful entrepreneurial venture, identifying real challenges within their fields of study or personal interests, and analyzing available opportunities to deliver creative solutions. They also focused on developing initial ideas using design thinking tools, and empowering participants to pitch their projects in a compelling manner that highlights their value proposition, social impact, and scalability.
The workshops witnessed high engagement from attendees, who expressed appreciation for the practical content and skills acquired, especially in design thinking and prototyping, enhancing their potential to develop successful entrepreneurial projects.
This initiative is part of the Center’s continued efforts to equip the university community with practical skills aligned with labor market demands and to promote a strong culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the academic environment.
