As part of the German Week celebrations at the German Jordanian University (GJU), the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT) successfully organized the 2025 SEEIT Hackathon, highlighting student innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills across various technology-focused categories.

Held on Tuesday, May 27, the Hackathon brought together talented students from both universities and schools across Jordan. Participants competed in three main tracks: Application Development, University-Level Problem Solving, and School-Level Problem Solving, showcasing their creativity, collaboration, and technical expertise.

Winners of the 2025 SEEIT Hackathon:

Application Development Track

  • First Place: Layan Darwish, Karmel Qawasmi, Mohannad Khader, Leen Alfityani
  • Second Place: Raya Fasha, Karmel Qawasmi, Faris Al-Natsheh, Rami Janini
  • Third Place: Mohammad Rabieh, Ammar Momani

 Problem-Solving Track – University Students

  • First Place: Karim Qiblawi, Ahmad Alsaket
  • Second Place: Basel Al-Dwairi, Laith Al-Naimat, Abdullah Aburous
