The German Jordanian University launched its annual “My Right to Learn” initiative for the third time at its Amman Hill campus, starting Sunday, July 6, 2025.

This step is part of the university’s comprehensive strategy to support and serve the local community by providing high-quality educational and social services in line with sustainable development standards.

Mr. Abdul Hakim Arabiyat, the initiative’s supervisor, stated that this year’s edition features an engaging mix of educational and interactive content, complemented by activities designed to develop students’ skills, boost their confidence, enhance effective communication, and instill strong community values, in addition to empowering them in digitalization and communication technologies.

The initiative is implemented in partnership with the Jordanian Armed Forces, the Public Security Directorate, the Zaha Cultural Center, the Arab Potash Company, the Integrated Transport Company, ISPARTA Water Technology, and Leading Fun Learning.

Mr. Arabiyat added that the initiative’s program is carried out by faculty members and students from the university, as well as volunteers from the local community, supported by the university’s colleges and departments, and continuously backed by the university presidency. This collaborative effort has reinforced the initiative’s repeated successes and helped achieve its objectives.

The university provides participating students with a school bag equipped with stationery sufficient for the entire academic year, as well as age-appropriate toys and gifts. A free medical day is also organized for the students to assess their health, particularly focusing on eye and dental care and physical fitness, along with a provided breakfast—all at no cost to the parents.

The initiative will run for one month, from July 6, 2025 to August 5, 2025.
