The German Jordanian University (GJU), through the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (DI-TECH), organized an introductory session on the “JoCodes – Jordan Programmers Program”, delivered by Eng. Tima Al-Rafaia, in the presence of (DI-TECH) team, represented by Mrs. Areen Tarawneh and Dr. Abdullah Alfarrarjeh., as well as faculty and administrative staff members, and a number of students and individuals interested in developing digital skills.

The event aimed to introduce students to the opportunities provided by the national digital skills development program and to encourage them to engage in self-learning pathways in modern technology fields.

The “JoCodes” program is implemented by Hello World Kids, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the Crown Prince Foundation. It targets youth aged 13 and above, offering self-paced learning tracks in programming fundamentals, data analysis, Android application development using Kotlin, as well as artificial intelligence basics.

It is worth noting that trainees who successfully complete the training courses and pass the examinations will receive accredited certificates issued by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship and the Crown Prince Foundation.
