Amman- 20 July 2022
The German Jordanian University (GJU) has introduced new academic digital programs at the Bachelor's level, starting from the First Semester of 2022/2023.
The programs recently approved by the Higher Education Council include Business Intelligence and Data Analytics at the School of Administrative and Logistics Sciences (SMLS), Health Informatics at the School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS), and Design and Media Informatics as a joint program between the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT), and the School of Architecture and the Built Environment (SABE).
The President of GJU, Prof. Ala'aldeen Al- Halhouli, indicated that the new programs were developed with the university’s partners in Germany and were prepared to keep pace with and meet the requirements of the local, regional and international markets, especially the German and European market, and to provide them with qualified specialists who can make a fundamental impact in their fields of work.
Dr. Al-Halhouli added that the rapid developments in global connections and communication systems, digital transformation, and information technology encouraged the development of these programs to be similar to the academic programs in German universities of applied sciences, encouraging the students to visit GJU’s Open House to learn more about these programs and submit admission applications directly.
