The Sustainability Network in Sweden, which connects academia, businesses, and policymakers, played a pivotal role in the tour. Through this platform, the Jordanian delegation engaged with Swedish companies, exploring cutting-edge sustainability practices and global certifications. These collaborations are expected to enhance the competitiveness of Jordanian SMEs, aligning them with international environmental standards.
This participation reflects Jordan’s commitment to a greener economy as outlined in its economic modernization vision. Dr. AlAtrash emphasized the importance of such international collaborations in highlighting the role of academic institutions in driving sustainable innovation and building bridges between universities, industries, and governments to achieve holistic development.
